About Our Student Club:
We’re an enthusiastic group of students at the University of North Florida set to work on this project; electric vehicle conversion from a gasoline-powered vehicle. Comprised of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, we welcome all who would like to participate in this opportunity to increase sustainability and gain experience throughout the process.
SUMMARY
The Story Behind EVO:
The club "Electric Vehicle Osprey" was formed with a few goals in mind: to take a fully functioning gasoline-powered vehicle and convert it to a fully functioning electric-powered vehicle, all while working collaboratively within our discipline and also in an interdisciplinary environment with other engineering fields.

This project would not only be a valuable learning experience for everyone involved, but it would also help to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainability with one less carbon-emitting vehicle on the road.
